Experience the Jubilee in Loppiano

19 Mar 2025 | News, Stories, Theotokos

The little town and its inhabitants are happy to welcome pilgrims who, alone or in groups, wish to experience the Jubilee of Hope at the Maria Theotokos Shrine, or those who, on their way to Rome, make Loppiano a stop on their Jubilee pilgrimage.

Maria Theotokos Shrine Jubilee Church

Whether alone or in a group, those who so wish, will be able to make their Jubilee pilgrimage to Loppiano. In fact, with a letter dated 18 December 2024, Rt Rev Stefano Manetti, Bishop of Fiesole, declared the Maria Theotokos Shrine in Loppiano a Jubilee Church, that is, a place of pilgrimage where it is possible to receive plenary or Jubilee indulgence. The experience can be enriched by meetings and visits to discover the life of this small town where people of different ages, countries, vocations and cultures live, engaged in a workshop of fraternity based on the evangelical law of mutual love.
